We are the owner-managed Hotel & Restaurant STERN, old-established in Gmünd if you will, and have been bringing new spirit to the old walls of the house since we took over in July 2020. We have already changed a lot and are convinced: Quality tastes good. Regional is the only right way. Seasonal is the best way to go in step with nature. And organic where it is possible and makes sense.
In addition to the existing hotel & restaurant, our gastronomic growth has brought with it the opening of the PopUp Garden, the upcoming opening of an umbrella bar and the current conceptualisation of a bar and event location. But our gastronomic vision for the Waldviertel is far from over.
